What will you be doing?
Based in Cape Town, you will be working as part of the Circana Data Release (Client Delivery) team. The Senior Client Analyst role supports the Client Delivery team in attaining high levels of client satisfaction by ensuring the build, maintenance and dispatch of databases, reports and online services to Circana Clients. You will partner closely with the CPG Manufacturer & Operations teams to understand, scope and meet client needs. The work involves impeccable planning, active communication and the execution of all contracted deliverables on time and to the quality standard as defined in the client contracts. You will continually drive initiatives to improve processes and standards to realise team efficiency and quality improvement objectives. You will support your Client Delivery Team Leader in training and mentoring of junior team members.
Job Responsibilities
Build, maintain and produce client databases and data models to specification and delivery timeline.
Ensure database accuracy by reviewing data in accordance with Circana standards and processes.
Plan, scope and implement team's BAU projects and client change requests.
Understands data flow processes and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve data queries
Manage and takes accountability for team's client portfolio
Become the Subject Matter Expert for your client portfolio
Exhibit good problem diagnosing (Root Cause Analysis) and trouble shooting skills and drive the resolution and communication of solutions on your clients' deliverables.
Consistently maintain team capacity and daily management system trackers and drive team planning and prioritisation in DMS meetings.
Identify and drive improvement initiatives for your clients and your vertical.
Internal Collaboration
:
Partner with CPG and/or Client Servicing teams to ensure the delivery of accurate databases within specified deadlines
Communicate and partner with CPG/Tech/Operations to resolve any issues impacting the client deliverables
Ensures that all client artefacts are kept up to date and in order
Initiates preventative measures and Go To Green plans to improve client satisfaction issues and overall quality of processes, projects and products

Requirements
Associate's degree (e.g. BCom/BSc)
Working knowledge of Data Models is advantageous
5+ years FMCG or Data Management experience
Excellent command of the English language
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management
Used to work with KPI's / targets
Hands-on mentality, resourceful & results oriented
Accurate, consistent, team player, flexible
Analytically strong
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Project Management or Business Analysis experience advantageous
