We're hiring!Aon South Africa is recruiting a Senior Client Manager in our Corporate department based, on a hybrid basis, from our Head Office in Sandton.The role of the senior client manager is to ensure that client relationships are optimum, client accounts are managed effectively and to provide expertise to colleagues and clients as required.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeResponsible for delivering on the agreed plan for the business unit/ area of specialty in line with the Aon SA strategyResponsible for leading, developing and improving the day to day client relationship for high premium clients and within the schemeResponsible for a portfolio of client accounts and manages and co-ordinates all related activities including building a xe2x80x9cclient profilexe2x80x9d of risks and needs analysisStructures an insurance programme to meet these needs including producing client documentation, leading or contributing to renewal meetings and leading or contributing to fee negotiationResponsible for leading the tender processes (where applicable) within the area of specialtyResponsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitability including fee negotiationResponsible for analysing and interpreting the markets/ relevant industries for competitive advantage and emerging opportunitiesResponsible for compliant dealings with clientsUpholds development of new business either with existing or new clients xe2x80x93 spots opportunities for increasing revenue and follows up appropriatelyCo-Ordinate teams of Client Service Advisors/ Client Managers to ensure client service standards are metResponsible for managing financials for a portfolio of clients and/ or for area of specialtyResponsible for all technical advice and/ or related training within the area of specialtyHow this opportunity is differentFrom helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day. • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
• A Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree is preferable
• Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act
• Must be registered as an associate with the IISA

Knowledge.

• Excellent knowledge of policy wordings.
• A comprehensive knowledge of the South African and international short-term insurance markets.
• An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals.
• Computer literacy with advanced know-how in MS Word and Excel.
• A working knowledge of risk management methodologies.
• Good knowledge of the legislative framework governing the industry.
• Have knowledge of underwriting and claims administration / management xe2x80x93 including the handling of complex claims

Skills and Attributes.

• Skill and confidence to articulate Aonxe2x80x99s proposition and how it differentiates Aon and benefit clients.
• Advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
• Well- Developed communication skills.
• Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in and with teams.

Experience.

• Have a minimum of 15 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar or related role.
• Have experience in budgets, forecasts and financial planning
• Have a proven track record in the provision of risk management and
• insurance solutions across the full spectrum of the business enterprises in South Africa
