Job Description


Requirements:

  • BCom degree (Paralegal qualification would be beneficial)
  • 3 years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of collateral management, financial regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in using financial software, compliance management tools, and regulatory reporting systems
Key performance indicators:
  • Ensures that the organization complies with regulatory and internal requirements related to collateral management
  • Preparation of security documents and reports for management
  • Attend to registration of mortgage bonds and cessions
  • Preparation of legal audits
  • Maintain safe custody of security documents and maintain detailed and accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with NCA requirements
  • Registration and administration of security cessions
  • Administration of cession payments and administration of pledged shares
  • Liaise with attorneys on legal matters
  • Support the Financial Services team on compliance professionals, providing guidance, training and support for their professional development
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and assessments related to collateral management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of collateral management and compliance activities
