Position / Job TitleSenior C & I EngineerDepartmentE, C & I Engineering DepartmentLocationJohannesburgScope of WorkThe scope of this role will require the incumbent to work in a projects-based environment covering all phases of project execution (feasibility, concept, basic, detail, construction support and commissioning).The individual will engage in C&I design activities related to producing and checking C&I engineering deliverables to legal & industry standards and Client expectations. The individual will be required to have sufficient C&I Engineering skills and experience to function in a senior position on projects and within the Dept.The individual must be experienced in producing technical specifications to purchase C&I equipment and conduct FATs and SATs.The scope of this role will require the incumbent to function in a resource and/ or lead role on projects, working to a budget and scheduleEducation and ExperienceBSc Electrical / Electronic Engineering degree with 12 years engineering experience.Experience in Oil and Gas/ Petrochemical environment is essential.Experience with an EPC Contractor is essential ( 8 years)Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA.TravelTravel to site will be required based on project needs.
