Developing content across various marketing channels, including website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, and product descriptions, all with a keen understanding of retail customer journeys.
Ensure creative work is executed within agreed strategy, deadlines, and budget.
LEADERSHIP PERFORMANCE AREAS
Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year.
On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS.
Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs.
Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance
Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
Role modelling the behaviours that support and drive the Flash culture and value
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
6 - 7 years of advertising agency experience as a copywriter, including experience in thought leadership, brand messaging and co-ordinating the rebranding of a company or companies. (Preferred)
BA degree or Higher diploma in Creative writing.
Perfect written communication skills.
Have experience working at an advertising agency or an in-house agency.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing as a whole within the South African cultural landscape.
A track record of exceeding targets and an award winning portfolio to demonstrate this and that showcases memorable creative work
