Are you a meticulous planner with minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Costing Co-Ordinator who strives for continuous improvements?This role will ensure that all internal inventory controls are maintained and implemented to safeguard the quantity and costs of the inventory are accurate. Office is based in Maitland, your highly valued expertise in the manufacturing industry is what this dynamic team requires.POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, bachelorxe2x80x99s or equivalent (Required)
• Manufacturing industry experience essential
• Costing in manufacturing industry: 5 years (Preferred)
• Highly Computer Literate (Excel and Sage advanced)
• Working environment dynamic resulting in potential adjustments and changes to specifications/requirements while striving for continuous improvement

DUTIES

• Ensure that inventory is accurate, and that inventory is not misstated.
• Ensure that the inventory costing relating to imported products and local products is accurate and the inventory is priced accordingly.
• Airfreight and Sea freight calculations and stock purchases local and international. Ensuring bills of material are accurate, and the cost of inventory is priced correctly
• Maintaining import schedule/register.
• Ensure stock takes are performed through-out the year.
• Responsible for inputting of monthly stock takes, generating inventory reports and analysing and investigating variances.
• Preparing monthly journals and stock valuations.
• Reconciling stock take on hand to the stock per the general ledger account
• Responsible for maintaining pricing matrix.
• Product costing and costing analysis for stock forecasting and management reporting to effectively manage stock levels and determining selling prices.
• Supply quotes and new prices to customers and operational pricing.
• Generating stock codes.
• Capturing/importing of transactional data and stock takes.
• Trouble shoot and resolve margin variances.
• Attention to detail while capable to process high volume of transactions.
• General administrative duties
