Job Summary Qualifications: CA(SA) Minimum of 6-8 years of credit and risk experience within a banking organization Relevant- international certifications will be an added advantage. Skills: Excel Advanced Non-negotiable Experience in overall management of employee performance of credit personnel including the establishment of performance management plans and undertaking regular performance development. Experience in creating a climate that delivers world-class service by encouraging a client-centric culture Job description: Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to the bank, enhancing processes, policies and policies and procedures by recommending and making submissions to the relevant- credit committees. Participate in defining and setting credit standards within the bank. Ensure that assigned and agreed strategic targets are operationalized and achieved. Adapt to changes in legislation by providing input to redesigning credit processes and systems where applicable. Participate in defining and setting credit standards within the bank. Participate in the formulation and implementation of the banking strategy. Monitor all non-performing loans and ensure compliance with classification standards and provisioning requirements and oversee all legal matters including correspondence with attorneys until recovery. Accountability for the overall portfolio and recovery strategy that minimizes risk and growth assets and enhances revenues. Provide timely information by preparing accurate, timely and relevant credit reports for review by management and committees. Ensure regulatory compliance within the credit risk areas and adherence to group and local policies as well as ensure timely delivery of all regulatory and head office reporting. Ensure that an in-depth credit analysis in respect of both new credit requests and actioning of renewals of existing facilities is carried out such that it includes the validation of supporting- information (by assessing the contents thereof) Please visit our website
