Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Analyst role would be responsible for extraction, interpretation, insight, monitoring and publishing of data retrieved from retail and E- Com stores for the successful implementation and development of the Retail Operations Strategy and ensuring data quality.

Responsibilities:

• Extract, combine, analyse raw data to produce the relevant bespoke stock and sales reports to the relevant stakeholders.
• Collect and analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and assist in developing strategies to maximize profitability. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. This helps in adapting sales strategies to market dynamics.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tactics based on data-driven insights. Provide support in setting sales targets and tracking performance against these goals.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance and Operations departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyse pricing structures and strategies, ensuring they are competitive and in line with market trends.
• Manage and update sales-related data in CRM systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the sales team.
• Knowledge in monitoring the accuracy and completeness of data and regularly validating it against credible data sources.
• Ability to create an environment where Business may quickly and easily access data and data analysis, ensuring that data processes are continuously maintained and kept up to date.
• Extract and validate data that goes into CRM / Shopify integrated systems.
• Oversee the collation of data resulting from the stock taking process.
• Facilitating with the ageing of stock to ensure clarification of current vs previous season inputs.

The Data and Reporting Analyst will also have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Data Analysis
• Process Automation and business reporting
• Data preparation, modelling, and analysis.
• Reviews of collections reporting across all payment modalities.
• Develop tools and maintain solutions on behalf of business stakeholders.
• Implementation of relevant procedures.

• 3-4 years data management experience with knowledge of data quality. An understanding of data quality management relating to financial services data.

3-4 years knowledge of systems, advanced proficiency with office, CRM and Shopify integrated systems and data principles that form the basis for data quality management. * Project management experience as well as exposure to governance and regulatory matters as they relate to data.
