Role Description
This is a permanent, hybrid role for an experienced Data Engineer role with one of our top tier, innovative banking clients, based in JHB North.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software systems, including the managing of project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field highly preferable. Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) pref.
Skills & Experience
Ab Initiio or other relevant data integration tool experience, SQL, ETL, sound data modelling and Data Analysis skills essential.
Min 5yrs+ Data Engineering / similar experience essential.
Banking & consulting experience very pref
Previous staff management experience (either direct reporting or on a project basis) very pref.
Project Management, Agile Methodologies, and Software Development Lifecycle skills very pref. Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in delivering software systems for the Financial sector Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
