Role Description
In this role, you will be based on-site (hybrid working model) with one of our top tier, banking client/s, based in JHB North. Be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software systems, including the managing of project timelines, budgets, and resources, stakeholder engagement as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - highly preferable Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 - preferable
Skills & Experience
Min 5yrs+ Data Engineering / similar experience essential
Banking & consulting experience very pref.
Staff management experience - direct reports / project related- highly pref.
Strong SQL skills essential (3 - 5 yrs. +. exp)
SSIS / SS / Power BI experience - very pref.
Project Management, Agile Methodologies, and Software Development Lifecycle skills - very pref.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in delivering software systems for the Financial sector
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
