Your role will involve identifying opportunities, building robust client relationships, and developing bankable deals that contribute to sustainable growth and regional integration.As a Senior Deal Originator, you'll collaborate with top-tier stakeholders, leverage your extensive networks, and apply your expertise in finance, project management, and deal structuring. You'll be at the forefront of creating a pipeline of high-quality investments, working closely with our project preparation and transactions teams to bring projects to bankability.Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the strategic objectives of the business through proactive deal origination and business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders across Africa.
• Develop a deep understanding of the political and financial landscapes to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
• Lead the development of new business strategies to ensure a continuous flow of impactful, bankable projects.

Qualifications:

• Honours degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or Economics.
• 8-10 years of experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Structured Finance.
• Proven track record in securing infrastructure investment deals in SA and/or Africa.
• Strong networks with global and regional private investors and financial institutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure market and financial regulatory environments across Africa.
