SENIOR DIGITAL DELIVERY MODELER and / or LEAD - Cape Town, SACompetitive Package on Offer! (Negotiable based on qualifications and years of relevant experience)Our Client, a Global Civil Engineering firm is currently expanding and in search of a highly skilled and efficient Senior Digital Delivery Modeler to join heir dynamic team of professionals.Main Purpose of the role:To provide and undertake complex modelling tasks, prepare tender/construction documents as well as provide technical support services in meeting the requirements of the group and its clients.One would describe you as a self-motivated professional who has the ability to work independently in producing accurate models/drawings to a high standard within set deadlines and whilst working on major sized projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modelling and detailing
• Revit, C3D and Bentley implementation for team
• Develop Autodesk templates/ Libraries and tools to maintain standards
• Programming within Autodesk (Visual Coding/Automation)
• Quality audit on outgoing drawings
• Standardisation of all drawings on project
• Visualization of 3D models of projects for presentations
• BIM implementation
• Handling all Autodesk troubleshooting and setting up of interfaces in respective department
• Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings
• Mentor, train and provide technical support to junior staff
• Conducting conceptual and detailed design and modelling in order to prepare technical drawings and documentation
• Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables
• Applying a deeper understanding of modelling principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
• Maintain a high level of Modelling expertise and engineering knowledge
• Undertake supervisor role and lead on projects
• Contribute to the overall management and profitably of the functional group
• Ensure drawings and documentation are to the highest quality
• Maintain client satisfaction
• Strictly adhere to the Companies Management System (MS), quality standards and OHS procedures
• Introduce Graduate Engineers to in-house standards and the practical application of tasks and construction techniques
• Assist Project Managers with site queries and reporting solutions

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Professional Registration in drawing/modelling (Autodesk certification preferred)
• Minimum of 5 modelling and detailing experience gained within the civil engineering (open structures | construction | bridges) industry
• Some exposure to bridges is advantageous!
• Working knowledge of Revit is essential
• Proficiency with C3D or Autodesk or Bentley is advantageous!
• Some key experience in relevant projects
