Job Description

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in building services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems for various building projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for building services, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for project planning and design.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient building systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on building services.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient design practices.
