SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERPosition: Senior Electrical EngineerWork Type: Fixed Term ContractSalary: To be negotiatedLocation: CenturionJOB SUMMARYAs a Snr Electrical Engineer, you will be required to offer your expertise within the electrical engineering aspect on a number of turnkey projects throughout the African Continent. You will be required to be involved at the conceptual stage of projects to allow for accurate budgeting and project planning.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical consulting services to our customers
• Produce and integrates engineering solutions/designs for assert creation on behalf of customers at various stages of project life cycle.
• The Candidate key functions will include the following:

• Conduct technical evaluations, supporting planning, design, and construction

• Perform project administration including preparing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports

• Design and implement the pumping system of the water abstraction plant including the piping to the water treatment plant

• Design and implement the pumping system of the water treatment plant and assist in the construction of the water treatment systems e.g. Sedimentation tanks, Flocculators etc.

• Design and implement the chemical dosing pumping systems

• Design and implement the pumping system from the water treatment plant to the booster station

• Follow safe work practices and use company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner that ensures personal safety, as well as the safety of fellow employees

• Advice, design and implement all the required mechanical structures of the water treatment plant.

• Interface with project managers and other engineering field on the design and implement the project

QUALIFICATIONS AND EPERIENCE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Sc. or BEng in Electrical Engineering PrEng (ECSA Registered as a professional Engineer)
• Experience of managing a team of junior engineers and
• Minimum 15 and more years in engineering design, management and Construction.
• Minimum 10 years experience in performing electrical/mechanical design
• Extensive experience in design and construction of steel water pipeline, pump stations, reservoirs, abstraction works and water treatment plants.
• Legal knowledge of Employee Equity Act, Labour and Employment laws, OHS Act, Design compliance standards.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office, MS Project, various Electrical and water design software.
• Drivers Licence is Essential.
• Quality Management Ensure that there is ISO compliance.
• Regular inter-provincial and international site visits and meetings.
• Salary is negotiable.
