Senior Electrical Engineer - BloemfonteinFull job descriptionSummaryWe are looking for an individual with 10 years experience as registered ECSA - Pr Eng and design within the Building Services Sector .The position is based Bloemfontein branch servicing other branches .** RE ADVERT**Qualifications:Degree in Electrical EngineeringECSA Pr. Eng RegistrationECSA Fire Registration ( an advantage)Knowledge, skills and experience+5 years experience post qualification in the Building Services Sector with ECSARegistration OR+8 years experience post qualification in the Building Services Sector but without ECSAregistration OR+12 years experience post Matric in the Building Services Sector without tertiaryqualification nor ECSA registration.Competent Lighting , Small Power Design and Reticulation , UPS , NurseCall ,Transformer Installation , Emergency Power System Design , Fire Detection System Design , Public Address System Design and other Electrical Systems for Building Services .Competent in tender and bills of quantities compilation and knowledge of various contracts e.g., JBCC, NEC3 etc.Competent with Designs and Construction ManagementStrong client relationsProblem Solving SkillsCompetent to run a project from condition assessment, inception up to project handoverstage with minimal to no supervision ( Stage 01 - 06)Able to run the project financial management aspect comfortably with minimum to nosupervision e.g. budgeting, payment certification, cost reporting, doing final accounts etc.Must be able to run medium size (service value of +10million) comfortably without supervision, to large size (service value of +R30million) projects with minimal to no supervision.Must be able to prepare cashflows accurately and capture projects to be invoiced and quantum to be invoiced on a monthly basis .Liaise with finance on a regular basis and give cashflows of what needs to be invoiced on monthly basis as accurately as possible.Must be able to train and mentor junior employeesMust adhere to the Engineering Procedures and documentation standards as specified by MEKAN QMS SystemJob RequirementsECSA Pr Eng Registration mandatoryBSc Degree in Electrical EngineeringHospital Experience is advantageousMust be willing to travel and work long hours for project requirements such as closing reports etc.Have a Drivers License (with his/her own car)Experience working directly with clientsGood communication skillsRemuneration Structure:Basic Salary (* Market related depending on skills, competency and experience*)PensionMedical AidProfessional Membership Fee SponsorshipTravel reimbursementsRemote Working :NB: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted .No unsolicited recruitment agencies will be acceptedFor further queries contact hr@mekanes.co.zaJob Type: Full-timePay: From R50 000,00 per monthEducation:Bachelors (Required)Experience:Electrical Engineering: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:ECSA Pr Eng Registration (Required)Application Deadline: 2024/08/30Expected Start Date: 2024/09/10
