Location: Bryanston, JohannesburgA successful IT company is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their fabulous team. They have a collaborative and friendly working environment and their staff are highly skilled and very dynamic. You will be able to deal with technical calls for large enterprise customers and deal with Veritas clusters and storage requirements. You will understand enterprise level networking, routing and firewalls and are able to manage enterprise SAN environments and able to deal with Veritas NetBackup Enterprise level escalations and troubleshooting. - Veritas InfoScale Availability (Linux/Windows)xe2x80x93 2 years
- Veritas InfoScale Storage (Linux/Windows)xe2x80x93 2 years
- Veritas NetBackup xe2x80x93 5 years
- Linux/Unix xe2x80x93 5 years
- SAN Experience (switches/arrays) xe2x80x93 2 years (optional)
- Networking xe2x80x93 2 years (optional)
- Valid code 8 driverxe2x80x99s license and own reliable transport
- Stable internet at homeCertifications:- Veritas InfoScale Availability (Linux/Windows)
- Veritas InfoScale Storage (Linux/Windows)
- Veritas NetBackup
- Linux/Unix (any flavour)
- SAN certifications xe2x80x93 any vendor (switches/arrays)
- Minimum NQF 4 (Matric)
- NQF 5 or higher will be advantageous.
- Valid code 8 driverxe2x80x99s license and own reliable transport
- Stable internet at home
