Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Senior Project Engineer! In this key role, you'll lead the design of cutting-edge commercial and industrial solar systems, ensuring they meet all regulations, standards, and best engineering practices. You'll be at the forefront of renewable energy design, responsible for system design, cost projections, and production estimates, all while ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems. We're committed to pioneering customized solutions, so you'll need to stay ahead of industry trends and bring your expertise and innovative thinking to the table.Design renewable energy systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Conduct site inspections to ensure accurate project design and cost estimation
Prepare budgets for proposed new projects
Develop detailed drawings for both information and construction purposes
Perform all necessary calculations and compile documentation required for utility approval
Create as-built drawings for completed projects
Measure and prepare bills of quantities for installations
Accurately simulate system performance and production estimates
Participate in the commissioning team on-site during project commissioning
Provide support for engineering-related operations and maintenance issues
Assist in developing design tools for the engineering department
Support the Project Manager with engineering-related project issues
Lead a design team, including Project Engineers, Interns, and Draughtsmen, to complete designs
Review and evaluate designs from project engineers and interns
Professionally approve designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Provide professional sign-off for plant compliance with regulations and standardsSkills & Experience:
Strong computer literacy with expertise in design and visualization software
Ability to manage and integrate multiple project disciplines
Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, policies, standards, and best practices
Proficiency in working within budgets and meeting deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Creativity and attention to detail
Strong deductive and inductive reasoning abilities
Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior staffQualification:
Minimum qualification in Electrical Engineering.
