International design for complete designs . Client is looking for senior design engineers. Our client does Product development from component level to complete systems. Product development expertise includes medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles in applications such as delivery, bus, motorhome, off highway, refuse and several other specialized and vocational vehicle markets. Centurion-based company who does design for international market.POSITION INFO:
SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERCenturionProduct Development. Details designs from first principles as well as improvement on existing Product rangesQualification and Key Skills Required:
- B Eng. / BSc in
- Minimum of 7 years of design experience
- Ability to plan and execute project plans
- Ability to guide and mentor other engineers
- Innovative and self-driven
- Hands-on approach to problem solving
- Readily able to adjust to changing priorities
- Objective orientated, setting goals and meeting deadlines
- 3D CAD models designs and presentation to clients.
- Preparation of manufacturing and supplier part drawings
- Conduct concept and design reviews
- Manage and support the day-to-day design activities
- Provide creative and technically feasible solutions for cost savings, service issues, and product improvements.
- Interface with materials and purchasing on new part design and sourcing.
- Interface with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing
