Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Manager who will be instrumental in steering the financial direction of the company. This pivotal role includes crafting financial strategies, managing budgets, and providing insightful analyses that will guide key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the management and group reporting, including quarterly presentations to the Board of Directors.

Oversee accounting policies, systems, and procedures to ensure impeccable financial operations.

Maintain the General Ledger and ensure the integrity of accounts during month-end close.

Drive financial planning, forecasting, and business case evaluations for strategic foresight.

Manage the budgeting process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.

Conduct statutory reporting, annual financial statement preparation, and tax management.

Analyze overall financial performance and deliver comprehensive reports to management.

Requirements:

(CA)SA with 9 years post-articles experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, in a financial management, accounting, or external audit capacity.

A track record showcasing strong competencies in analysis, decision-making, and persuasive communication.

Proven ability in relationship management, adaptability, and handling confidential information with discretion.
