The successful candidate must be solutions driven and a team player with meticulous attention to detail and analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Full accounting function up to trial balanceCompiling management accounts in accordance IFRSAnalysing financial information to detect variances, weaknesses and risksAll budget preparation and presentationsPreparing month-end files with supporting documentationPreparing billing information and invoices on a monthly basisPreparing audit packs, documents and schedules required by the external auditorsAdjusting journal entries and accounting for provisionsReconciling intercompany loansProcessing and reconciling bank statementsProcessing and reconciling petty cashMaintaining proper fixed asset registers with supporting documentsDebtors and creditors controlCalculating Income Tax, VAT and Employee's Tax liabilitiesPreparing VAT reconciliationsCash flow managementLoading transfers, beneficiaries and paymentsResolving any accounting discrepancies and irregularitiesSubmitting monthly statutory returns e.g. EMP201, VAT201Submitting bi-annual recons (EMP501) and IRP5'sProcessing SARS payments and maintaining SARS accountsAttending to SARS audits and submitting supporting documentsCompleting applications for tax clearance certificatesSubmitting and paying CIPC annual dutiesManaging and training team members to meet Finance's expectationsMaintaining financial and administrative software and templatesREQUIREMENTS:5 plus years Financial Accounting experienceRelevant Degree in Accounting and AuditingPost-article experience beneficialMust have Caseware experienceSAGE X3 knowledge will be advantageousAdvanced MS Excel skill level
