Job Description

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a CA(SA) qualification and have at least 2 years of experience in the property industry.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities for the company.

Qualifications:

• CA(SA) qualification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting within the property industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
