Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage cost accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis specific to plant operations.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, and support operational efficiency improvements.
- Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights into plant performance.
- Collaborate with plant management to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- CA(SA) qualification with 3 years of post-articles experience.
- Proven experience in plant manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
