A prominent name in the insurance industry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their fast growing team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

• Manage the preparation of monthly, biannual, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS and relevant regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to protect company assets.
• Ensure full compliance with insurance regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to provide insights that support managements strategic decision-making.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Lead initiatives focused on enhancing processes and upgrading financial systems.
• Take full accountability for the accuracy of the trial balance, collaborating with stakeholders to address potential risks.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Finance
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles
• 5 Years experience in a financial accounting role
• 2 Years experience in the insurance industry
• Must have experience with IFRS

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with diligence.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a challenging environment.
