Job Summary Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Manager with Bulk Transport/Commodity Trading Industry background. They will oversee all the financial operations, tax and business audits and local and international compliance. The Senior Financial Manager will play a critical role in strategic planning, reporting, and risk management within the organisation, ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations. Main job function Manage all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure Oversee Debtors / Creditors / Finance Department/s (Staff) Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (locally & Internationally) on a same day basis Prepare forecasts of financial performance, cash flow projection and budgeting. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance Full bookkeeping to balance sheet function Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting (CFA/CIMA preferred) Experience/Criteria Bachelors degree in finance or accounting (CFA/CIMA preferred) A minimum of 5 years experience in a financial management position withing the Logistics / Bulk Transport / Commodity Trading Industry Previous QuickBooks Accounting Software package experience preferred Knowledge of international trade / finance Knowledge of foreign exchange markets, hedging of currencies and reporting of forex movements Extensive knowledge of financial policies, procedures and processes in export Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial management principles Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting International reporting framework experience / knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent people management skills Team Player A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
