• BCompt/BTech Degree in Accounting.
• Completed articles at a registered auditing firm or minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience.
• Must have sufficient experience within the fresh fruit industry non-negotiable.
• Export/Import of fruit.
• Extensive experience in Excel.
• Cost accounting and standard cost principles essential.
• Forex handling.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage full creditors process on producers.
• Capture and review produce and related cost elements and related adjustments.
• Prepare and review weekly payments to producers.
• Send payment remittances to producers.
• Report on producer payment summaries.
• Manage ledgers for any deductions on producer payments.
• Cashflow management.
• Update and monitor standard costs and related variances monthly.
• Invoice costs back to producers.
• Manage balance sheet items related to control accounts on standard costs.
• Various reporting.
• Onboard new customers and producers.
• Process commercial invoices and credit notes.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly commercial creditor payments.
• Perform any other relevant accounting functions as required.
