Job Description
Our client in Bloemfontein is looking to employ a Senior Grain Manager to ensure the sustainable, profitable and effective management of the grain department.Requirements:Appropriate B degree or diploma in Agriculture;5 years management experience;10 years experience in the grain industry (Trading as well as Silo services);Safex trading certificate will be a recommendation.Skills:Good understanding and knowledge of grain trading and operation of future markets;Analyse management statement;Good negotiation skills;Good Computer skills ( MS Office);Good analytical accounting insight;Business insight;Good interpersonal skills;Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;Margin management;Budget management.Responsibilities:Strategic management of the grain division;Management of finances, customer service, personnel and market share;Overall management of grain operation and marketing processes.
