The purpose of the Senior Compensation Execution Specialist role is to take responsibility for supporting the end-to-end compensation execution function. The role works in accordance with the Reward Solutions frameworks and practices and supports the implementation components of new Reward initiatives at the compensation execution level. The role takes accountability for quality standards and risk assurance measures by formulating clear compensation execution processes, including the integration points with other People solutions and services functions. This Senior Compensation Execution Specialist also provides general project support within the compensation execution portfolio taking on special assignments with the Rewards, Benefits and People Support Desk functions aimed at developing, maintaining, or enhancing processes that impact the compensation execution delivery. The role also supports additional tasks that fall within the Senior Group Compensation Execution Specialist portfolio, assisting with the facilitation of Compensation data across the People team and other stakeholders as relevant. The role facilitates effective compensation execution knowledge transfer and builds capacity across the People function by empowering various stakeholders to participate in the compensation execution process according to the Rewards frameworks and practices and compensation execution delegation of authority.

Job Objectives
Maintain day-to-day activities related to package structuring, execution of employee compensation, and data administration to adhere to policies, procedures, and specified timelines.
Advise businesses and colleagues on status change requests, including package calculations, benefit allocations, and allowances, while collaborating with recruiters on appropriate package structures.
Managing the compensation execution aspects of the annual increase and bonus processes inclusive of distribution of letters.?
Review and monitor annual share allocations and their vesting processes.
Gather and verify the list of participants eligible for dividend payments, processing payment details, and loading dividend prices per share.
Collaborate with the Reward Solutions team to explore stakeholder engagement regarding any share scheme changes, inquiries, and options.
Develop effective relationships and maintain compliance with Share Scheme Administrators (Investec).
Investigate and approve car allowance extensions and other ad hoc compensation-related considerations.
Maintain adherence to compensation data standards throughout all processes.
Investigate and ensure adherence to governance structures, policies, processes, procedures, and frameworks within the Compensation Execution team.
Analyse risks related to Compensation Execution and develop appropriate mitigation plans to resolve potential issues.
Explore opportunities for integration and effective workflow with other solution areas and business functions.

Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (essential).

Experience
+4 years' experience in a Senior Compensation Execution or equivalent role, delivering Compensation Execution and advisory services in an HR/Finance environment (essential).
Experience in the FMCG or retail sector is preferred.
Practical learning experiences are valued; candidates without a degree may be considered based on relevant experience and a proven track record in Compensation Execution best practices.
