Are you interested in entering the financial world of the property development & ownership space? Look no further, as our client is currently searching for a talented CA to join their team.
Our client has set high standards for themselves by incorporating a "work, live, play" concept in their business model. They develop, operate, and own a mixed-use scheme that includes residential, commercial, industrial, and retail products in Gauteng. Their portfolio also expands into other city centres where they own a wide range of property assets. Whilst they primarily manage their own properties, they also provide third-party management for a mall, bringing their total assets under management to over R6 billion.
To support the executive, they are looking for someone who is both judicious and engaging to take control of the group finance management function. The primary responsibilities will include a variety of administrative, analytical, functional/operational and automation/integration tasks. Regular duties will include preparing financial documents, communicating with auditors, managing billing and follow-ups, and ensuring that all required documents are properly saved for the annual audit. However, there is also a significant demand on this role for assistance in transactional evaluations & support, and in taking initiative in the identification and solving of financial risks.
As such the role would suit a detail focused but also creative personality; someone who is confident and articulate enough to present at an Executive level, whilst still able to roll up get their hands dirty on the ground. The Senior Group Financial Accountant role is open to a Chartered Accountant who has 2 years PQE. We are happy to consider those who have only audit experience, or those with some corporate exposure too.
