Senior Hardware Buyer, East London

Job Description
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Diploma / Degree required with 3+ years retail merchandise and buying experience essential
- Hardware buying experience required with good understanding of general hardware industry
- Working knowledge of retail cycle & merchandise buying principles / processes
- Understanding and experience in retail planning principles / processes
- MS Office literacy
- Valid drivers and willing to travel to branches on an ad hoc basis
- Good decision maker with strategic buying experience
- Able to manage diversity, delegate and control junior staff
- Must have good communication & presentation skills
- Able to maintain high levels of drive and initiative under pressure
- Working hours : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm & Saturdays 8am - 2pm
