Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Technology to lead our software development teams in Johannesburg. This pivotal role will drive the architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise-level solutions in the fast-paced iGaming sector.As Head of Technology, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions. You will lead a team of skilled developers while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in leadership (B2B/iGaming preferred)
- Expertise in .NET Core, WebAPI, SQL, and Umbraco
- Strong background in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for innovation and staying ahead of emerging technologies
- Lead and mentor front-end, back-end, DevOps, and BI development teams
- Design and optimize robust architectures using C#/.NET, Umbraco, and microservices
- Establish coding standards, security protocols, and performance best practices
- Work closely with product, UX, and business teams to deliver strategic solutions
- Drive automation and efficiency to enhance deployment speed and reduce technical debt
- Recruit and develop top engineering talent
