Position: Senior HR Officer
Industry: Mining
Location: Limpopo, South AfricaRPO Recruitment's client is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Officer to join their mining team in Limpopo. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the organization and ensuring compliance with all HR policies and procedures.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the overall business objectives of the organization.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process for all levels of employees within the mining industry.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to ensure continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.
• Manage employee relations and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations within the mining industry.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Partner with senior management to address HR issues and drive organizational growth and success.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
• Lead and supervise a team of HR professionals.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience in a similar position in the mining industry
• Strong Employee Relations exposure
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in South Africa.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in HRIS and other HR software applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
