NDC Personnel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Hygiene Technician to join a premium FMCG manufacturer in the Western Cape! This role offers the chance to lead and inspire a dynamic team while driving continuous improvement in productivity, cost-efficiency, and safety standards.As the Senior Hygiene Technician, you will oversee the implementation of effective cleaning standards across the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will lead the hygiene team, providing training and guidance to maintain the highest standards. This role involves monitoring personal protective equipment compliance, conducting hygiene inspections, and driving corrective actions when needed. You will also participate in internal and external audits and manage the use of cleaning chemicals and procedures, ensuring records are maintained and continuously improved.Key responsibilities include conducting inspections across all shifts, including night shifts and weekends, reviewing environmental results, and reporting findings to operations. The successful candidate will need to collaborate naturally with diverse teams, foster a positive work environment, and support the organizations objectives.Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology Advanced Diploma, or equivalent tertiary qualification
Minimum of 4 years experience in a food production environment, with at least 2 years experience in a leadership role
