Calling all Indirect Tax Specialists looking to move into the Fintech space.The Senior Tax Specialist (Indirect Tax) is crucial to ensuring group tax compliance, particularly focusing on indirect taxes, and delivering tax reporting requirements. This role adds value to the organization through effective tax risk management, aligning with the Group Tax Strategy. Your expertise will significantly contribute to our financial success and ensure compliance within an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.Key Responsibilities:Tax Processes, Planning, and Projects:
Lead and manage various tax-related processes, including strategic planning and execution of tax projects. Ensure that these processes align with the broader financial and operational goals of the organization.Tax Accounting and Reporting:
Oversee VAT and tax reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in tax accounting and reporting. Provide detailed tax analysis and insights to support financial decision-making.Ensure Tax Compliance Across the Business:
Monitor and enforce tax compliance across all business units, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Implement best practices to maintain and improve compliance standards.Identify and Mitigate Tax Risk:
Proactively identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure the business is always compliant.Manage Tax Audits:
Lead and manage tax audits, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Prepare and present necessary documentation and responses to audit queries.Qualifications:Education:

• Postgraduate Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, Tax, or a related field is required.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.

Professional Certifications:

• Registered tax practitioner/professional tax certification is preferred.
• VAT Certification is required.
