Job SummaryMain responsibilities:Responsible for IP/Data Communication products network design;
Pre-sales and post-sales technical support in the field of IP/Data Communication network product in South Africa
Support customers in all technical aspects and improve the customer relationship
IP network architecture design and pre-sales solution discussion with the customer
IP network evaluation and consultant service for the customer
Design and deployment of all types of IP/Data communication Network elements: IP Core/IP RAN/Internet Gateways, etc.
Level 1 & Level 2 technical support service to the customers independently or jointly with a technical support team
Handling of customer service requests and SLA tracking
Implementation and delivery of IP network projects
Perform training for customers, subcontractors and other service partners
Output communication diagrams and solution based on customer requirementsJob requirements:Excellent understanding of Data communication, solid experience of IP, MPLS, BGP, Traffic Engineering and IP network design
More than 8 years working experience on IP projects delivery
IP Core / IP RAN technical management experience; familiarity with telecom provider network architecture
Previous experience with operators, and other telecommunication equipment vendors or system integration vendors is an advantage (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, Ericsson, etc.)
Very strong hands-on skills with extensive experience in the troubleshooting and solving of complex network related issues
Very good understanding of the project implementation and maintenance processes in the telecommunication industry
Strong communication ability and good service, customer oriented attitude
Excellent team work
Fluent in English
HCIE/CCIE/JNCIE will be preferredEducation requirements:Degree: Bachelor's degree or above
Specialization: Science and Technology; Electronic science; Telecommunication or other related fields
Industry certifications are added advantage: HCIE, CCIE, JNCIE, etc.Experience required:Minimum 10 years technical experience in complex telecommunications environment or with a large ISP network
