Role Profile and Person Specification Purpose of the Role Are you an experienced IT Engineer looking for a new challenge? Are you a rocket-scientist in Microsoft administration? We are looking for a super-nerd who gets excited about all things Microsoft cloud, specifically the O365 and Azure range of platforms, to join our growing and dynamic technology in Cape Town working for international companies. We are implementing a cloud-first strategy that includes adoption of new digital channels for customers and staff alike. Our small but growing Cloud Engineering team are at the forefront of this transformation and the role includes architecture, implementation, operation, documentation, and support across the full range of Microsoft platforms. You will be working as a key player in the wider IT team delivering first-class solutions and services across our group of companies. Your experience working with companies offshore would be preferable. Key responsibilities: Azure experienced - Overall technical lead for Microsoft Cloud architecture and administration, working in operations and projects Participate in Service Design sessions where technical requirements are captured and documented by the IT Infrastructure team Provide insight and guidance on Microsoft technologies. Design and implement monitoring of our Microsoft technology stack. Develop high quality support documentation and assist with service transition of new functions. Continually improve the Data Loss Prevention and Information Security capabilities *After hour work will be required Key Requirements: You will not be considered for this role unless you have: Microsoft / Azure CertificationMicrosoft Microservice / IaaS, PaaS, SaaSMicrosoft Servers 2012-2019 strong knowledge and troubleshootingAll MS Server roles, AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS, GPO, GC, Multitenant forests and so forthProven experience across All Microsoft stack including: Azure AD, Security and Conditional Access PoliciesVirtual Server, Serverless Functions, SaaS, AVDNetwork including but not limited to WAF, APPGW, NSG, RoutingMS Compliance, Security, Exchange, Teams AdministrationStrong knowledge on SharePoint and Endpoint Management MDM/MAM Microsoft Defender, Configuration and ManagementsPowerShell and scripting skillsStrong documentation skillsStrong troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of Information Security and Compliance Desired Requirements: Configuration and management experience with Switches, Routers, UnifiStrong knowledge on Security and Risk AssessmentKnowledge of software platforms, Forcepoint, Mimecast, HyperV, Lansweeper, PRTGITIL frameworkProject Management
