Job Description

- A BTech/ AdvDiploma/ Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industrial and/or tertiary education experience in Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest technology and developments in the field Chemical Engineering.
- Masters qualification in Chemical Engineering, will be an added advantage
- Experience in demonstrating and supervision of Chemical Engineering practicals and projects in a tertiary institution, will be an added advantage.
- Supervise and demonstrate laboratory practical's and research projects.
- Ordering of Chemical, materials and equipment for the laboratories.
- Supervise students' laboratory practical's and undergraduate projects.
- Organise and manage Chemical Engineering laboratory facilities.
- Health and safety management of the laboratories.
- Support postgraduate students and supervisors in their research.
- Assist with departmental administration.
- Manage laboratory budget
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to work independently
- Stress tolerant
- Technical skills
- Safety awareness
