Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities within the mining operations.Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the maintenance team
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Optimize the reliability and availability of mining equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities
- Monitor equipment performance and propose improvements or modifications
- Manage and control the maintenance budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
- GCC Mines & Works
- 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the mining industry.
- Extensive knowledge/experience in maintenance, hazard identification, RCFA/RCM facilitated and implemented, and procurement.
- Valid Drivers' License.
- Salary: Negotiable
