Clover is looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join the Commercial team. The successful individual will support the business with proper financial planning, procedures, controls and analysis in order to minimise cost and maximise growth.

Minimum Requirements
Degree/Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Advanced)
Experience in working with senior management

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain policy and procedures
Draft financial policies and procedures when and where required
Maintain policies and procedures
Train staff to work according to the policies and procedures
Ensure that all financial actions adhere to the corporate governance and compliance
Maintain and control business systems
Ensure integrity of all system data input
Ensure compliances to audit standards
Ensure proper handling of source documentation
Timeous handling of all transactions
Maintain daily/weekly/monthly and year end system procedure
Manage finance processes for business unit and affiliate companies
Manage the income statement (eg. Trial balance control, budget targets & cost variance)
Control Debtors and Creditors, Stock and Assets
Ensure that accounts are paid on time & control spending
Handle both the annual internal and external audits for all BU's responsible for.
Manage fixed cost and variances for listed BU's
Completion of financial and management reports
Ensure accurate and timeous financial reporting
Complete year end schedules for company auditor's
Provide monthly variance and management reports when & where required
Control cost variations from the budgeted figures to ensure sound financial control
Report any undue actions that may occur in a department
Ensure that financials are reported on due dates, correct and accurate to all relevant Managers as required
Perform Cost and Management accounting functions
Perform profit and loss analysis & presentations for various projects (operational, capital & project tracking)
Perform profit and loss forecast for Management.
Develop and maintain KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
Ensure all KPI's are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timeous (SMART concept)
Develop new financial and operational/management KPI's
Collate and store data to ensure relevant KPI's
Manage KPI's to support management.
Manage risk and contract according to companies policy
Ensure that the company adhere to all its contracts
Negotiate new contracts and tariffs where applicable
Ensure that the company is not unduly at risk due to actions within the division or company.
Manage and control the Budget processes
Manage and control the annual budget process and principles
Ensure that the intended and final budget is uploaded into the company's required system
Ensure that the budget is accurate, relevant and presented to management
Manage personnel
Coordinate daily activities of personnel
Do performance management and individual development programs
