Job Description


Purpose of role:The role of a Snr. Manager Applications is to optimize, identify and bring forth technology infrastructure and solutions to propel the company forward.The successful incumbent will serve as a technical expert serve and liaison between the business side of the organization and the technical side, identifying needs, communicating findings, and making recommendations.S/He will be responsible for overseeing the operational systems design, development, implementation, and optimization.In this role, the successful incumbent will analyze the current systems and assets, recommend, and implement solutions and upgrades, and manage overall the applications that are used with the SaltEB environment.The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of Everest Application and core understanding on the administration of Funds.Manage all aspects of DevOps on the Operation Platform.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain essential application operations, including operating systems, security, alignment of system process, improvements & maintenance.
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
  • Handle business-critical system requirements and systems administration.
  • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Manage DevOps Capabilities on the Application Platform (Everest).
  • Reporting requirements on Applications.
  • SLA requirements are met both internally & externally.
  • Central body of knowledge on changes and impactions on the Application Platform (Everest).
  • Ensure that operational, procedural, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Team Management and deliverables to business stakeholders.
REPORTING
  • Monthly feedback to CTO on Application deliverables and alignment

  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Build and maintain supportive relationships both internally and externally stakeholders
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all clients and service providers.
  • Be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
TIME MANAGEMENT
  • Devote the whole of your time, attention, and abilities during working hours to the discharge of your duties.
  • Work concurrently on multiple projects to deliver value to business.
PEOPLE
  • Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and informal coaching. Implement talent acquisition, engagement and recognition process in line with this.
  • Manage Headcount & Retention.
  • Timekeeping - Managing teams leave and time keeping (RTW).
  • Training & Development - Making sure all team members understand to adhere to processes.
  • To ensure effective Succession planning for key roles
  • To ensure that the team continuously innovates Learning and Growth
  • Ensuring that functions and processes are aligned within the department.
  • Improving the internal controls to address any weaknesses that may arise.
  • Prepare training manuals used in the department.
  • Authorizing and co-ordinating staff leave.
  • Preparing and assessing of staff KPAs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in technology, Informatics or Accounting
  • 8+ years experience working in similar type role
Required Knowledge:
  • Fund Administration Knowledge
  • Operational Platform Knowledge (Everest)
  • Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions
