Job Description
A well-established financial services business is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager- Corporate ActuarialQualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diploma in in Actuarial Science/Mathematics related qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification in Actuarial Science/Mathematics related qualification.
- Qualified Associate/Fellow Actuary (ASSA/IFoA/SoA/CAS/SoA) or any other internationally recognized Actuarial Board) would be ideal.
- Relevant 9 - 10 years experience in a fund, liability and fund management related environment of which 3 (three) years must have been on a management level/area of expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and MS Word skills.
- Complex problem identification, solving and decision making.
- Actuarial core principles
- Impact of actuarial advise to different stakeholders
- Knowledge of FSB regulatory requirements
- Strong technical background in reserving/valuations.
- Independent and creative analysis of business results
- Excellent analytical, problem solving & data manipulation skills.
- Budget Management ability
