Role PurposeTo drive the development of new business sales initiatives and support the delivery of an excellent client experience in order to achieve the business objectives in the Large Corporate broker market.
Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Management
  • 5-8 Years' experience in client services and sales within a Financial Services or Employee Benefits environment
  • 3-5 Years' management experience
  • Knowledge of the financial services, health, insurance and investment industry
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) would be advantageous
  • Key individual would be advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the achievement of sales strategies in line with required targets
  • Develop strategies to identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and under penetrated markets
  • Set and monitor strategic objectives within the sales area to increase profitable market share
  • Develop and implement new business development plans which expand presence in existing markets, penetrate new markets and develop new client relationships in line with the ethos of client centricity and legislative requirements
  • Create strategic partnerships with business partners and stakeholders in order to understand business priorities and requirements
  • Base on the client need framework customise solutions for clients across licences within the Client Value Proposition (CVP) framework.
  • Implement a commission and remuneration structure for the team to maximise sales growth
  • Facilitate pricing negotiation and negotiate non-standard value adds in order to secure business
  • Facilitate relationship between Sales, Servicing, Solutions and Pricing teams in order to ensure optimal client service
  • Provide high level input into new business presentations and client brochures
  • Develop customised solutions and specialist products for large corporate brokers
  • Provide an effective sales function via the co-ordination of the activities of the department
  • Develop effective short, medium and long-term operating strategies and plans based on client's financial services requirements in order to effectively on-board and service clients or policy holders
  • Manage the client experience and expectations in order to ensure client's financial wellness needs are being successfully addressed
  • Oversee the assessment and analysis of service delivery gaps and challenges, and implement remedial action strategies
  • Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, and maximise employee productivity
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership behaviour, commitment and dedication in support of MMI organisational values
