In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the rest of SanlamAllianz Digital in-country and Marketing team while helping upskilling digital marketers and other marketing professionals across the SanlamAllianz Group. The African continent presents a diverse range of markets, with different languages, cultures, and consumer segments. behaviours.The ideal candidate will have deep experience in digital marketing strategies and think strategically about both business and consumer targeting, acquisition, retention and brand across the customer journey. You love technology and use data to guide you with your ability to easily draw insights to inform decision making to not just drive short term results but also long-term customer loyalty.What will make you successful in this role?Your ability to:

  • Developing and implementing the SanlamAllianz digital strategy, influencer strategy and group social media strategy.
  • Managing the execution of group digital marketing and social campaigns.
  • Driving digital marketing strategies that are relevant to all the markets where we operate.
  • Managing external social media and digital marketing suppliers.
  • Driving digital transformation and advancing the maturity of digital marketing across the group.
  • Collaborate with Content, Creative and Brand teams to deliver an overall brand experience along the customer digital journey consistent with best-in-class digital practices and experiences.
  • Manage the Group Digital Marketing team.
  • Use analytics to recommend updates/changes to improve performance and user experience.
  • Oversee digital marketing budget.
  • Work collaboratively across marketing teams to ensure seamless and consistent digital experience across the Group.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
Qualification and Experience
  • Degree in IT or digital marketing is essential.
  • Post graduate diploma in digital marketing is advantageous.
  • 10+ years' experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven experience in a large corporate and/or financial institution will be to your advantage.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful digital marketing and social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience driving digital marketing transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience with and a thorough understanding of SEO/SEM, Google analytics, the full range of Google advertising platforms, social media platforms or similar
Knowledge and Skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing and in particular digital marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media marketing & management.
  • In-depth knowledge of online monitoring and measurement platforms.
  • Understanding of the continuously changing Martech landscape and implications for SanlamAllianz.
  • A good grasp of digital data analytics and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of website development and management.
