Senior Manager: Group Finance

Job Description
Job Summary The successful incumbent will be responsible for the operational implementation of the group and function strategy through implementing the defined, integrated response to the external environment and strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall financial operations including Audit, Taxation, Financial Reporting and Budget Management
- Management of the preparation of the Group and various subsidiaries annual financial statements
- Accountability for allocated cost centre budget, variances, reports and overall financial management
- Develop operational plans to meet the defined delivery objectives, supporting and being supported by peer teams and areas of responsibility
- Publishing of the trading statements on SENS if necessary
- Review of the monthly financial reports prior to submission to the external stakeholders
- CA(SA)
- 5 years of experience in a senior management level
- Must be able to delegate
- Knowledge of IFRS: 2:3:7:9 and 17 would be ideal
- JSE listed environment would be an advantage
