You will be responsible for delivering real-time, confirmative, and predictive financial insights that support the strategic objectives of our business.As the Senior Manager - Group Reporting, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of group consolidated financial statements, manage the external audit process, and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. Your expertise will also be critical in managing group taxation, updating accounting policies, and coordinating reporting across various subsidiaries. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of financial reporting and contributing to the overall success of the finance function. • Oversee and sign off on group consolidations and reporting, including monthly group management accounts and flash reporting
• Present group consolidated results to executive management on a monthly basis
• Coordinate and prepare group reporting templates for quarterly, interim, and year-end reports
• Prepare group consolidated financial statements for half-year and full-year results, and assist with the preparation of the annual integrated report
• Plan and control the annual external audit process, including managing the consultation with auditors on technical accounting matter
• Provide oversight on group tax reporting, manage tax risk, and ensure tax compliance across the group
• Continuously update group-wide accounting policies and keep up to date with the latest IFRS changes
• Lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring appropriate management oversight and fostering an environment of continual improvement in financial reporting

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom in Accounting
• CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed articles in a Big 4 audit firm
• 8-10 years post-articles experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in group consolidations, technical accounting, reporting, and group taxation
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (IFRS 9 knowledge is beneficial) and JSE reporting standards
• Proficient in IBM Cognos Controller, TM1, CDM, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, and Microsoft Office

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• High integrity, principles, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on interdepartmental collaboration
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal guidance
