Purpose of Job
To manage the execution of the mine plan and annual budget, including production, cost, CAPEX and resource control To drive mining activities along value chain to sustainably deliver expected daily production volumes for the mine. To manage the deployment of SHE regulatory policies and procedures, and identify improvement opportunities to maintain high SHE compliance rates.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Develop mining exploration, drilling, and modelling plans, and set respective budget and timeline. Manage the allocation of mining resources, and communicate responsibilities and regulations. Translate mining plan into daily activities and schedules, and monitor implementation in line with set timeline. Oversee production operations, and make appropriate adjustments to deliver agreed volumes at optimal productivity and cost. Supervise execution of mining activities against plan, and schedule maintenance of mining sites when required. Deploy SHE regulatory procedures, and identify improvement opportunities of key safety metrics to maintain high SHE compliance rates. Handle mining annual budget including volume, control costs, and CAPEX, and achieve production volumes within budgetary limits. Align with SHE department on updates in mining regulations and policies, and communicate changes with internal team. Monitor mining team's performance against set KPIs, and conduct relevant trainings and career development sessions as required. Engage with internal and external stakeholders engagement (i.e. unions, contractors, and suppliers), and align on mining plans and achievements.
