Job Summary Job Title: Senior Mine Planner - MiningLocation: Kwazulu-NatalHire Resolve's Leading Mining Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join our mining team in Kwazulu-Natal. As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans that ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of minerals from our mining operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop short-term and long-term mine plans in accordance with safety, environmental, and production requirements
- analyze and interpret geological data to inform mine planning decisions
- work closely with mining engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders to optimize mine plans
- monitor and adjust mine plans in response to changing conditions and requirements
- ensure compliance with all relevant mining regulations and standards
- provide technical expertise and guidance to junior mine planners and other team members
- contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in mine planning processes
- maintain accurate records and documentation related to mine planning activitiesQualifications
- Honours degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in underground mine planning, with a background in geological modelling in mining operations.
- Proficiency in geological modelling software (Minex, preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mine planning software (RPM Global - UGCS preferred).Benefits:
