• 5 year working experience (Insurance)
• Short term (Personal, Commercial, Marine and/or other specialist) broking experience as internal broker.
• Managing own client base, including client visits and clients renewals (Obtaining quotations, putting together the presentation, firming up the renewal with both the client and Insurer).
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office especially EXCEL & Word.
• Must be independent and also able to work in a team.
• Dealt with professional, affluent clients
• Experience in building and maintaining new sales channels
• Able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

Responsible For

• New Business Senior Broker
• Create and maintain New Business sales channels, including in the aviation industry, amongst sub-brokers and with insurance companies (especially in Africa)
• Make appointments to meet new and existing clients, sub-brokers, insurers and cedents
• Obtain quotations, put together client presentations, client advice, negotiation of and close the deal, handle the placement
• Manage relationship with Local Insurers and London wholesale insurance brokers
• Keep up with both aviation and insurance industry news and trends
• Annual Renewals
• Admin-intensive position, must have strong administrative skills.
• Credit Control
• Selling additional products
• Attendance at airshows, and aviation related industry events
