Duties and responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage bursaries.
  • Assist with detailed reporting to funders.
  • Coordinate visits and events between funders and bursary recipients.
  • Negotiate with funders.
  • Prepare Grant applications.
  • Oversee signing of funder agreements.
  • Assist with yearly setups.
  • Manage bursary budgets in collaboration with the line manager.
  • Manage student payments and debtors.
  • Administer student budgets and reconcile reimbursements.
  • Liaise and support with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile bursary funds.
Inherent requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree on NQF level 7 (with Accounting as one of the subjects studied in the coursework).
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Work in the Higher Education context, especially Finance.
  • Interpersonal skills.
