Job Description


Education, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Matric
Valid Drivers Licence
Logistics and Supply Chain Diploma /Degree (advantageous)
Supervisory skills and experience in warehouse environment (Non Negotiable)
Excel Skills (Non Negotiable)
Presentation skills
Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
Sage/Pastel Evolution experience
MS Office
Minimum of 3-5 years in similar role : medical / hospital industry experience will secureYou will supervise the Logistics Outbound process by ensuring effective inventory control through accurate picking/packing
and dispatching of stock order requirements.
Provide functional leadership and direction to the Outbound team, by continually improving processes, and driving operational efficienciesOutbound Processing
Supervising of the Outbound team and ensure daily targets are achieved.
Ensuring that the Outbound team adhere to departmental turnaround times.
Oversee the picking and packing of products and ensure that stock is picked according to FEFO
Ensuring all cold chain items are monitored and shipped as per the temperature requirements
Ensure Replenishment orders to the branches are executed daily and weekly.
Ensuring all stock is timeously forwarded to the invoicing clerks and required signatures are obtained
Ensuring that all KIT Movements requests are action within turnaround times.
Ensuring efficient route planning for the KIT movement driver
Emergency pickups and deliveries if required
Ensure that Outbound team assist Inbound team when huge shipments arriveStock Control
Tracing of serial numbers of consignment stock
Managing excess, obsolete and soon to expire stock.
Ensuring FEFO is adhered to.
Managing of stock levels per account as per pre-set stock levels
Working with Inbound to ensure stock rotation from Bulk to Fine pick phase.
Assist with Weekly/Monthly cycle counts.
Assist with Annual stock counts.Dispatch and Delivery
Oversee the freight of stock to nationally and internationally.
Ensuring that the team is cost efficient when selecting courier service types for national deliveries.
Liaising with the courier company regarding delivery queries
Assist sales and marketing, if required
Ad-Hoc deliveries of emergency stock in the Gauteng Region, Pretoria
Assist with deliveries of Kits, if requiredGeneral Administration & Reports
Assisting with queries for offshore creditors
Submission of all insurance related incidents
Checking of monthly courier billing cost
Checking daily output of Outbound team (STATS)
Supply necessary reports to Operations ManagerPolicies and Procedures
All company policies and procedures are adhered to in the performance of duties.
Initiative is used in suggesting suitable amendments to existing policies and procedures and identifying new
policies and procedures that require implementationTime management abilities
