SENIOR PATTERN TECHNOLOGIST / MAKERLocation: PinetownOur client within the textile industry based in Durban is looking for a Senior Pattern Technologist / Maker to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding customer specifications and developing patterns in accordance with a specific plan.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide technical input related to patterns and achieve functional key performance indicators.
- Oversight and sign-off of new and existing patterns ensuring that each pattern is developed within the set standards of size, construction methods and pattern making quality standards.
- Assessing of garments once they are made up from a pattern for quality of workmanship and fit.
- Attend fit sessions and handle all related queries from the various stakeholders.
- Create graded specs, adjusting patterns as and when required.
- Provide guidance and direction to the technical team.
- Matric
- Relevant experience working within a similar position - specifically within ladies wear/corporate clothing
- Management experience
- Grading experience
- Experience working on Lectra
- Strong attention to detail and quality oriented
